At Auriga, we are deeply committed to creating a positive and lasting impact on the communities where we operate.
We understand the importance of engaging with local organisations to support programs that foster community well-being, promote education, and empower residents in the regions in which we operate. This is demonstrated by our partnership programs such as the Clontarf Foundation and Stars Foundation, in addition to other community support initiatives.
The Auriga Group is a proud partner of the Clontarf Foundation.
The Foundation exists to improve the education, discipline, life skills, self-esteem and employment prospects of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men.
The Auriga Group is a proud partner of the Stars Foundation.
Stars provides a holistic program that supports Indigenous girls and young women to attend and remain engaged at school, complete Year 12 and move into work or further study.
Through meaningful partnerships, support for local businesses, and engagement with associations and programs, we are committed to embracing, empowering, and hiring from the communities in which we operate.
Trent Lonsdale, CEO - Auriga Group
Our commitment to the Indigenous community.
The Auriga Group is committed to increasing our engagement with Indigenous businesses and their communities. We are constantly looking at ways to continue to develop long-term relationships. Auriga engages with Indigenous and Torres Strait businesses to ensure that local suppliers, manufacturers, and contractors are given an equal opportunity to tender or quote for any Auriga business.
We are proud of our community engagement programs where we can partner with or provide our resources to assist, protect, and engage in the places we work and operate.
Auriga prioritises applications from local community members when recruiting, particularly those from cultural backgrounds which represent the community that we will be working with. We firmly believe that our people are reflective of the communities we serve, and this is evident in our existing teams.
As well as our partnerships with the Clontarf and Stars Foundation, Auriga Also has long-term commitments that include scholarships for Training Pathway Programs for Helicopter Pilots and Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Apprenticeships. This will effectively provides opportunities for local community Grade 11 and 12 students to “learn and earn” in an aviation career over the next 10 years and beyond.
Supporting local communities.
We recognise the value of supporting and uplifting the communities in which we operate.
Whether it’s through supporting local businesses or partnering with community associations, we strive to make a positive impact.
The Auriga Group is proud to sponsor a range of events and teams such as the Billfish Shootout, Dampier Beachside Markets to raise funds for the Dampier Seafarers and the Queenscliff Coutas Football and Netball club.
